The Piccolo Apartment is located on the first floor of a building dating back to 1400 which is protected as a historical building. Just a short walk from St. Peter’s Basilica and the Mausoleum of Hadrian (Castel Sant’Angelo), in the Renaissance area of Rome, you will have the opportunity to stay in the centre of the Eternal City! The apartment is characterised by terracotta floors, original wooden doors and ceilings, and a beautiful marble fireplace, all elements that bear witness to its ancient origins.
The apartment, completely renovated in 2016, is equipped with all modern comforts: Wi-Fi, ADSL, air conditioning, heating and a flat screen TV. It comprises of a living room with kitchenette that is illuminated by natural light from the two wooden windows with double glazing. There is a comfortable table and a double sofa bed in the room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, electric induction hobs, a dishwasher, a toaster and everything necessary to cook full meals or quick snacks. The large double bedroom has a wardrobe and desk. The bathroom facilities include a shower, bidet and hairdryer. A washing machine and iron with ironing board are also provided.

  • Check in is from 4:00pm: free until 9:00pm and there is a 30-Euro charge for check ins between 9:00pm and 12:00am – check out: before 10:00am
  • Most major credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Pagobancomat and Union Pay) – we do not accept bank or traveller’s cheques/checks
  • The apartment is located on the first floor (without lift/elevator)
  • Italian and English spoken
  • Children up to the age of 2 years old can stay free of charge, if they sleep in their parents’ bed
  • There is a city tourist tax of 6,00 Euros per person, per night (excluding children up to 10 years old) which is to be paid in cash upon arrival
  • Transfer service: we offer a transfer service to/from the airports, etc. Rates are currently 75 Euros (1-4 people with either 4 hand luggage suitcases or 2 large suitcases and 2 hand luggage suitcases) or 85 Euros (5-8 people or more luggage) – if you request this service, please provide us with your flight number, number of passengers, suitcase configuration and a mobile phone number for any necessary communication

Bus route 40 for 6 stops (alight at ‘Ponte Vittorio’ bus stop) and then on foot for 100 metres

From Ciampino Airport:
Bus: there is a shuttle bus from Ciampino Airport to Termini Station (45 minutes) at a cost of 6,00 Euros
Taxis: from Ciampino Airport to the apartment (45 minutes) at a fixed fare of 30 Euros (every day – every hour)

From Fiumicino Airport:
Bus: from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station (50-55 minutes) at a cost of 6,00 Euros
Train (Leonardo Express): from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station (30-35 minutes) at a cost of 14 Euros
Taxi: from Fiumicino Airport to the apartment (45 minutes) at a fixed fare of 50,00 Euros (every day – every hour)

The Piccolo Apartment Parking

If you intend to reach us by car and wish to park your car safely, there is a nearby car park with full surveillance situated just 350 metres away from the apartment.
